Nestled among the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, our country setting provides a healthy relaxed and enjoyable visit for your pet. We are a boarding facility for dogs and cats near Asheville, North Carolina. We have been open for business and a member of (ABKA) American Boarding Kennels Association since 1985. Avery Creek Kennel has grown from a small boarding facility to a full service pet care center providing boarding, exercise programs, daycare, and bathing. Our experienced and professional staff takes great pride in treating our customers and their pets with the utmost care and respect.

Avery Creek Kennel is on five acres of land, with seven huge play yards. Our runs are indoor/outdoor. During the day your pet can lounge around outside enjoying the beautiful view or stay inside.

Avery Creek Kennel uses computer software to stay current with your pets information. A chart is kept daily for every pet to ensure that they are eating, eliminating, and are mentally alert and happy. If we suspect a medical problem, we will contact you and your vet immediately. We ask that you provide us with a local emergency number or a phone number where you may be reached.

Bedding is provided. You can bring a favorite toy to make your pet's stay more comfortable. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items, although every effort will be made to keep track of your pet's belongings.

Food is included in the boarding fee. If you wish to supply your own food, we will be glad to accommodate at no additional cost.
